The concept

A vintage photograph discovered in Johanna Tordjman’s family archives inspired the creation of a custom Adidas set, produced in a limited edition of 25 pieces for her exhibition Octobre 61 at Oddity Gallery in Paris.

The artist reinterpreted traditional embroideries once worn by her North African ancestors, applying them to the iconic three-stripe tracksuit.

By merging heritage craftsmanship with contemporary streetwear, Tordjman explores how personal history can be translated into modern cultural symbols.

The project opens a dialogue between memory, identity, and global sportswear culture, suggesting the potential for this reinterpretation to become part of Adidas’ official collections
