JT61 creates culturally grounded collaborations where art, design, and narrative merge into precise, collectible systems.

Built as an extension of an artistic practice rooted in memory, diaspora, and everyday objects, the studio develops collaborations that translate narratives into form. Each project begins with a clear conceptual foundation, then unfolds through a precise visual language, where materials, symbols, and details are treated as carriers of meaning rather than decoration.

JT61 approaches collaboration as a dialogue: with brands, artisans, and communities. Whether through garments, objects, installations, or images, the work is never illustrative. It is constructed, layered, and intentional, often drawing from systems of accumulation, repetition, and subtle variation, echoing how culture itself is built over time.

From limited pieces to spatial activations, the studio focuses on creating work that feels both immediate and enduring, where design becomes a vessel for stories that can be worn, used, and passed on.
